REFUGEE RIGHTS AND ASYLUM SEEKERS

Article 1(A) (2) of the 1951 Convention defines a refugee as an individual who is outside his or her country of nationality or habitual residence who is unable or unwilling to return due to a well-founded fear of persecution based on his or her race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group.  REFUGEE RIGHTS INCLUDE;  NON-REFOULEMENT The non-refoulement of refugee refers to the obligation of States not to refoule, or return, a refugee to “the frontiers of territories where his life or freedom would be threatened on account of his race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion.” 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees art. 33 (1).  Non-refoulement is universally acknowledged as a human right. Dear Great People Of Muranga

Dear Great People Of Muranga County I salute you all in the name of our Almighty God! First of all, I take this golden opportunity to thank our Almighty God and appreciate you all for your continued support. Without you, I would never have been able to come this far. I give thanks to God for you and may God give you grace and peace! Secondly, as I promised in 2017 after unsuccessfully contesting for Muguru Ward MCA Seat, I avoided active elective campaign politics to give time to elected and nominated leaders to fulfill their campaign promises and manifestos as I get time to interact with electorates on other avenues of leadership. Thirdly, with only one year remaining to 2022 election period, I would like to inform you that I will be petitioning Muranga County Assembly on Tuesday 16th March 2021 at 12.00 by Article 37 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and Section 15 of the County Government's Act 2012. The NINE Historic Petitions to the County Assembly of Muranga are as follows an
