Hon Kigano Has A Right To Decide His Destiny

As I was listening to Bob Marley's Revolutionary song Liberate Zimbabwe I grasped few lines that "Every man has a right to decide his own destiny" and it went ahead "Brother you're right, you're right You're right, you're right, you're so right."

Kangema MP Hon Kigano

Likewise, Kangema MP Hon Muturi Kigano is deciding his politics and development destiny and recent action to send his staff on a compulsory leave is democratically, constitutionally and politically right. He's so right. It is even good for the staff to refresh and perk up after lost energy of having been on the line of duty since 2017, maybe in preparation of 2021 hard duties, reshuffle or reinforcement. On this, the MP need to be praised not blamed.

A politician is usually in a dilemma whether to reward Loyalty or Influence. On 2017, the MP rewarded loyalty at expense of influence which saw the current staff in his office. They are technocrats with no or little political influence who focused greatly on development at the expense of Politics.

On development index, Hon Kigano's record is undisputed. It has seen many schools renovation, rehabilitation of many roads, rural electrification, recuperation of Nyanjigi Irrigation projects which was hulted after passing on of Hon Michuki, tarmacking of Mau Mau road the first tarmac to be seen in Kangema since the demise of Hon Michuki as well as establishment of Kenya Medical Training College - Kangema campus among other projects.

But on political index, Hon Kigano has a lower rating as his staff most of whom are technocrats ignored that important pillar. They only focused on Social media and ignored other media and grassroots as majority of Kangema people don't have access to internet as of 2019 Census Data. This is evidenced in previous ratings of members of parliament where Kangema MP was underrated. His political influence somehow rejuvenated after he teamed up with former Kangema MP aspirant Kamau Kamau.

Kamau Kamau and Muturi Kigano

For any elected leader, the last year before an election is very crucial but not easy. It's full of antagonism, sabotage, propagandas and criticisms thus a politician's first aim, thought, study or actions should be Politics then development; Politics and development in that order. When politicians forget about politics, they lose their powers.

Also, as human beings are driven by two motives; fear and interest, most ally of incumbent who dared not think, talk or act contrary to him or her due to fear of being punished of disloyalty usually shifts to self interest in last minute, a thing that see them decamp to support political rivals and ambush to the incumbent, remain in their comfort zones or joy ride in incumbent's campaign. So any human deciding his own destiny ought to be praised not blamed.

Muratina is a crisp, sour, fruit flavoured Kikuyus' traditional brew made by fermenting Muratina fruit with water, honey, sugar and sugarcane juice. It has an alcoholic odor and is common in Central Kenya among the Kikuyu Community and has been passed from generations to generations where brewers learn the art or magic of making it from years of watching elders. Muratina in a Calabash 'Kinya' It is named after a fruit that comes from a wild tree commonly known as the "Sausage tree" due to its long, sausage like shape of the fruit which is highly poisonous when eaten raw unless boiled or roasted. The tree is scientifically known as Kigelia Africana and grows in river banks, wet areas and food plains in African countries such as Kenya, Cameroon, Senegal, Guinea, Tanzania, Chad, Eritrea, South Africa and Namibia. In Kenya it is found in Central and Western Kenya. Among Kikuyu Community, the tree is neither planted nor cut by any human as traditionalists believe it is

CRP Litmus Test

Civic Renewal Party commonly known as CRP is one of the party in Mt Kenya Region in Kenya. The party is led by Muranga County Governor H.E Mwangi Wa Iria who is also the Council of Governors vice chairman and Presidential Candidate in 2022. CRP Headquarters Party Analysis CRP party logo 1. Name; The word 'Civic' means people's activities or duties in their local areas, towns or cities. So in choosing of the name 'Civic', philosophy is detected. 2. In 'CRP' abbreviation, still wisdom is detected. Just like it was in H.E Ruto's former party URP. 3. Party Symbol; The choice of symbol of a 'Cow' was also well advised as every Kenyan Citizen is familiar with cows. On the party symbol, I could have advised for additional symbol of coffee, tea or maize which are backbone to Kenyan Economy and later being staple food in Kenya and which the party leader has been in forefront in reviving it's farming in the County through provision of farm inputs. 4.
