Let's Separate Church From Politics

There's this secularism concept that "you should not mix religion with politics" and extends to an extent "religion and politics should not appear in the same sentence." Presumably because of another notion "Politics is a dirty game" and "if you mix religion with politics the resultant is politics."  The wall of separation of the two was coined by American president Thomas Jefferson and promoted by English Philosopher John Locke during the enlightenment epoch. But it appears to operate largely in some developed countries like the United States while in most third world and developing countries like Kenya, religion, state, and politics are intertwined. Religion is even misused by Machiavellian politicians for their political interests to attain and maintain powers as Italian Philosopher Nicole Machiavelli argues "the end justifies the means" and "a prince should be highly religious." This empties religion its eternal meanin

Raila 'Ares' Odinga, god of War and Violence

In Greece, there's a mythology of the Olympian god of war, violence, brutality and destruction known as Ares who's hated by both men and gods. However, like Greece, in Kenya there's only one charitrophy and orchasterate of war, violence, brutality and destruction, Raila Ares Amolo Odinga. Raila 'Ares'Odinga Since inception of this god over four decades ago, in Luoland and in the rest of the country, it has made it a practice to exploit poor but energetic youth to fight its opponents by violently intimidating and disenfranchising people who do not bow down to it or support it. Raila 'Ares' Amolo Odinga, swam in a river of blood in August 1982 when he planned and executed a failed coup d'etat against president Moi's Government which resulted to death of many Kenyans and his detention. It was during Kibaki's presidency that Ares Odinga revealed it was his plan to overthrow Moi regime. Raila Odinga arrested for planning and executing 1982 Coup But Ar

Jubilee Njama Withdraw From Kiambaa Race

I am Kariri Njama of ODM Jubilee Alliance and I officially withdraw from Kiambaa Parliamentary Race this evening. I apologize for withdrawal and more so for being late. There is little or nothing I can do to change the fact that Kiambaa Constituency is behind UDA and more so H.E William Ruto and John Njuguna Wanjiku who happens to be my friends. Jubilee Candidate Njama Withdraw from Kiambaa Race I've had a tough week, I'm a beaten man; I am bent but I am not broken. Some few people don't want me to get out of this race because they have invested heavily in me in return I support ODM Jubilee Alliance and Raila come next year. I also believe there are few angry and confused voters out around Kiambaa. So what I have to say to them is to join the winning team; UDA. For now they have Njuguna Wanjiku but come next year, they will have me. Since getting into politics years ago, I have been talking for myself and playing my political game. This is because voters are smart enough t

BBI Will Overtax Kenyans

At around 1,000 B.C. as recorded in the Bible 1 Samuel 8:10-22 and other history books, Samuel warned the Israelites who wanted to have a King that if they have one, he will overtax them by taking away tenth of their grain, vineyards and flocks to pay his officers and servants a warning people never heeded to and regretted it under King Saul and other Kings in Israel. Same, if BBI pass it will overtax Kenyans probably twice or thrice of current taxations. That's a fact the BBI brigadiers will never openly tell Kenyans as they are blindfolded by goodies they have pocketed or promised in the BBI. BBI Principals Uhuru & Raila But doing some substantiated analysis, we get the fact that BBI will bring an office of Prime Minister, two Deputy Prime Ministers, Office of the Opposition Leader, increase no of Members of Parliament from current 365 to 650, increase County Funding from 15% to 35% as well as introduce 5% of tatal County Revenue Collection as Ward Development Fund. All these

History and Future Of Ruling Parties In Kenya

As a good student of History & Politics, I tend to Comprehend Karl Marx words, "History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce." Looking at History of Ruling Political Parties in Kenya, I get the following scenarios; 1. President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta belonged to KANU throughout his presidency. 2. President Moi belonged to KADU and KANU to become president after demise of mzee Jomo Kenyatta 3. President Mwai Kibaki belonged to NARC and PNU in his ruling. 4. President Uhuru Kenyatta belonged or belong to TNA and Jubilee Party. With that I can deduct and substantiate the fact that; 1. Since the end of Nyayo regime, retiring presidents retire with their Political Parties and Kenyans are concerned less with them and their Political parties as it was the case of Moi & his KANU, Kibaki & his PNU and same it will be with Uhuru & his Jubilee. 2. After the demise of President Jomo Kenyatta, there has been NO same ruling party transition of Powers. KANU transf
