Hon Kigano Has A Right To Decide His Destiny

As I was listening to Bob Marley's Revolutionary song Liberate Zimbabwe I grasped few lines that "Every man has a right to decide his own destiny" and it went ahead "Brother you're right, you're right You're right, you're right, you're so right."  Kangema MP Hon Kigano Likewise, Kangema MP Hon Muturi Kigano is deciding his politics and development destiny and recent action to send his staff on a compulsory leave is democratically, constitutionally and politically right. He's so right. It is even good for the staff to refresh and perk up after lost energy of having been on the line of duty since 2017, maybe in preparation of 2021 hard duties, reshuffle or reinforcement. On this, the MP need to be praised not blamed.  A politician is usually in a dilemma whether to reward Loyalty or Influence. On 2017, the MP rewarded loyalty at expense of influence which saw the current staff in his office. They are technocrats with no or little political

Kangema 2022 Politics Part I

Anyone wishing to contest for any elective post in any By-election or 2022 General Elections has a Political, Constitutional and Democratic Right to do so as the wish to acquire power is natural and common and men always do so when they can. For this, they need to be praised not blamed. On matters of Kangema 2022 MP Race, I hold that it's too early for analysis, predictions and projections even as Political Climate continue to rise and Political clouds continue to gather. But I perceive it will be a tough race. It will be a crash of Titans which will be won or lost with only a handful of votes in the party primaries if all the apirants will be subjected to a free, fair and transparent exercise. But for the few who will choose shortcuts to avoid popular parties primaries, it will be a shortcut yes but full of obstacles. The difference between winning and losing will be determined by many factors such as timing, perceptions and campaign strategies. But Kangema MP Race will be a mix

MURATINA - Kikuyu Traditional Brew

Muratina is a crisp, sour, fruit flavoured Kikuyus' traditional brew made by fermenting Muratina fruit with water, honey, sugar and sugarcane juice. It has an alcoholic odor and is common in Central Kenya among the Kikuyu Community and has been passed from generations to generations where brewers learn the art or magic of making it from years of watching elders. Muratina in a Calabash 'Kinya' It is named after a fruit that comes from a wild tree commonly known as the "Sausage tree" due to its long, sausage like shape of the fruit which is highly poisonous when eaten raw unless boiled or roasted. The tree is scientifically known as Kigelia Africana and grows in river banks, wet areas and food plains in African countries such as Kenya, Cameroon, Senegal, Guinea, Tanzania, Chad, Eritrea, South Africa and Namibia. In Kenya it is found in Central and Western Kenya. Among Kikuyu Community, the tree is neither planted nor cut by any human as traditionalists believe it is

KANGEMA NG-CDF TOURNAMENT STATUS

As Kangema NG-CDF Tournaments kick off today, players are more than willing to play after one year without the tournament due to Covid 19. Thanks to Kangema NG-CDF Sports Committee and Patron Hon Muturi Kigano for the organized tournaments.  But players are not really happy and there are few things I would like to raise some of which we have aired since 2018 but have never been addressed especially now that there is only one financial year remaining to 2022 and if addressed many players would be very grateful; First is to empathize with four teams' captains and team managers from different teams who attended the Sports meeting on Friday at CDF Office Hall but never got any allowance. I resonate with you as I was one of you who got nothing. I understand how it feels like to use your own money on transport to attend a meeting with a promise of a refund only to spend a whole day in a meeting without even a glass of water and return home empty handed. Second, as players heads to the fi

I Endorse BBI

Democracy originated in ancient Greek in Great City-State of Athens. In a Democracy, we agree to disagree and Majority will always have their Way and Minority their Say.   Whatever your take on the BBI Bill , you're Constitutionally and Democratically Right thus no need for insult, name calling or violence!  For me I support BBI Bill 100% and I was never taught how to Compromise my Political Ideologies and even if I was taught I can't remember such a class. From today I have started massive BBI grassroot Campaign and mobilization of the members of the public to endorse BBI Bill offline as 2019 census shows that majority of people in Kangema have no access to internet. I am not only supporting BBI Bill to save Kangema from being scrapped off or increase County Funds or even bring Ward Development Fund closer to me but also to oversee the formation of Office of Opposition Leader as I understand his/her role which include but not limited to; 1. Keep the government of the day on it

MCA Beaten For Grabbing A Public Land

There was a big drama at Ngoigwa Estate in Thika after Thika Township Ward MCA Hon Andrew Kimani was beaten mercilessly by former Mayor David Njehia for grabbing a piece of public land. Thika MCA Hon Kimani crying uncontrollably The area resident enjoyed a free drama of the war which left MCA with head injuries and crying uncontrollably like a small child. The efforts of the residents to 'bembeleza' MCA to stop crying did not bear fruits. The MCA refused to give more details to the press on matters of the alleged public land or the extent of the pain inflicted by the fists from the former Mayor who seemed like a heavyweight champion the likes of Tyson Fury. It was only through the mercy of God that the mayor did not interfere with MCA's dental formula. Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury But thanks to the Thika Police who arrived at the scene on time to rescue the MCA after which together with the Mayor were arrested to end the drama which was amassing attention of the area res

My opinion on Liberty and Necessity

First, I conceive that when it cometh into a man’s mind to do or not to do some certain action, if he have no time to deliberate, the doing it or abstaining necessarily follows the present thought he hath of the good or evil consequence thereof to himself. As for example, in sudden anger, the action shall follow the thought of revenge; in sudden fear, the thought of escape. Also when a man hath time to deliberate, but deliberates not, because never anything appeared that could make him doubt of the consequence, the action follows his opinion of the goodness or harm of it. Liberty statue in New York City, US Secondly, I conceive when a man deliberates whether he shall do a thing or not do it, that he does nothing else but consider whether it be better for himself to do it or not to do it. And to consider an action is to imagine the consequences of it, both good and evil. From whence is to be inferred, that deliberation is nothing else but alternate imagination of the good and evil seque

Only coup d'état can oust Maghufuli, not Ballot

As 29 million liberal minded Tanzanians head to cast their votes tomorrow Wednesday, 27 October 2020, less do they know the outcome of the elections are already out and de facto and de jure imperial president dictator John Pombe Maghufuli together with his CCM members of parliament have already won in partnership with NEC and are now busy planning on how to change the constitution to lift five years two term limit for president to pave way for him to remain in power for decades.  President Maghufuli and his main challenger Tundu Lissu Tanzanian presidential elections has seen 17 candidates rise to the top job but competition is between the incumbent president John Pombe Maghufuli of CCM and Tundu Lissu of CHADEMA party who have made a coalition with ACT Wazalendo party to oust the president who ascended to power in 2015.  After ascending to powers, Maghufuli turned to be Africa's most controversial leader and joined the list of dictators. He had mostly restricted opposition movemen

Biden vs Trump; Old men's doddering race to White House

With only few days until the American presidential election, I have decided to obey my political call and share my analysis and prediction. Biden and Trump during presidential debate Presidential Election in US is scheduled for Tuesday November 3, 2020 and simply is between two antagonizing parties, Democrat and Republican. This Election undergoes two crucial independent voting stages; The Popular Vote and The Electoral College Vote although earlier maybe determinant of later under 'winner takes all' where presidential candidate who receives most votes in any given state is assured of all college votes in such state. In 2016, Hillary Clinton won Popular votes with 65,853,514 votes against Donald Trump with 62,984,828 votes but Donald won college votes with 304 votes which even surpassed the required 270 votes against Hillary Clinton's 227 votes. This was the seventh presidential elections in History of US where a presidential candidate won popular vote but lost college vote

Roman Empire

Beginning in the eighth century B.C., Ancient Rome grew from a small town on central Italy’s Tiber River into an empire that at its peak encompassed most of continental Europe, Britain, much of western Asia, northern Africa and the Mediterranean islands.  Among the many legacies of Roman dominance are the widespread use of the Romance languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian) derived from Latin, the modern Western alphabet and calendar and the emergence of Christianity as a major world religion.  After 450 years as a republic, Rome became an empire in the wake of Julius Caesar’s rise and fall in the first century B.C. The long and triumphant reign of its first emperor, Augustus, began a golden age of peace and prosperity; by contrast, the Roman Empire’s decline and fall by the fifth century A.D. was one of the most dramatic implosions in the history of human civilization. As legend has it, Rome was founded in 753 BC by Romulus and Remus, twin sons of Mars, the god o

Which is the best form of Government?

Government as to numbers of rulers; In classical Greece, Aristotle laid the foundations of understanding Political Science, specifically its rudimentary nature. He believes that government can be classified into three categories, these are: Government of one; Government of few and; Government of many.  British monarch A government ruled by one entity is called Monarchy, a government ruled by the few was named after Aristotle, Aristocracy while the state headed by many is recognized as Democracy.  Aristotle argued that when a monarch started to rule for self interest and disregard the felicity of the people, it’s government would be classified as tyrannical. Many government in ancient times became tyranny, like in Kings of Europe and Emperors of Asia.  The government of the few was a bit different from monarchy, Aristotle described it as the government of the best. The leadership is based on physical, intellectual and moral standing of a person, basically a concept of credentials in our

Candidates Elections Rules Interpreted

MPs and senators who lost their seats to MCAs and never petitioned the Elections are currently blaming their brains which couldn't comprehend the 200 pages constitution or their advisors after High Court has nullified the election of Gatundu North MP Hon Anne Wangari Kibe as she was still an MCA when contesting. Also the Governors who lost to their Senators! my 2017 argument and understanding of the constitution still remains; an MCA doesn't qualify to contest for any other seat apart from Gubernatorial Seat unless he or she resigns before February 8 in Elections year. A Governor is only qualified to contest for an MCA seat and does not qualified to contest for any parliamentary or presidency seat unless resigns by February 8 in Elections year. A Senator or an MP is only qualified to contest for parliamentary or presidency seat but is not qualified to contest for an MCA or Gubernatorial Seat unless resigns before February 8 in Elections year. Gubernatorial Seat has a two terms

CRP Litmus Test

Civic Renewal Party commonly known as CRP is one of the party in Mt Kenya Region in Kenya. The party is led by Muranga County Governor H.E Mwangi Wa Iria who is also the Council of Governors vice chairman and Presidential Candidate in 2022. CRP Headquarters Party Analysis CRP party logo 1. Name; The word 'Civic' means people's activities or duties in their local areas, towns or cities. So in choosing of the name 'Civic', philosophy is detected. 2. In 'CRP' abbreviation, still wisdom is detected. Just like it was in H.E Ruto's former party URP. 3. Party Symbol; The choice of symbol of a 'Cow' was also well advised as every Kenyan Citizen is familiar with cows. On the party symbol, I could have advised for additional symbol of coffee, tea or maize which are backbone to Kenyan Economy and later being staple food in Kenya and which the party leader has been in forefront in reviving it's farming in the County through provision of farm inputs. 4.
